Making selections |
|
It is important to be able to make selections of specific elements of an image so that adjustments can be targeted on specific parts of the image and not just the whole image.
Even more accurate selections can be made by overlapping (intersecting) masks - so the adjustment affects only the part where the masks overlap. The video also shows the value of bringing out colours in an image where they may look minimal in the raw. |

There is so much in this video from showing how easy Panoramas are in Lightroom, low light shooting without a tripod, to simple light and colour adjustments using basic masks to apply the changes to specific areas of the image.

making selections - here is a video on that very subject - it is one of the clearest videos I have seen on the subject - and later in the video (19 minutes) it starts to introduce the people masking - such a powerful tool now. Who said Lightroom is the poor relation to Photoshop !
