White balance
Good tips on how to set the white balance – something we often skip over. But it sets up the image for processing.
Panoramas
Panoramas can be large or just stitching two images together for more impact. Panos are an easy technique to give images more impact – even phone images can be easily stitched together – and lightroom makes it so easy with one click of the mouse.

Making selections
It is important to be able to make selections of specific elements of an image so that adjustments can be targeted on specific parts of the image.
Even more accurate selections can be made by overlapping (intersecting) masks – so the adjustment affects only the part where the masks overlap. The video also shows how to bring out dull colours
Removing objects

Lighting adjustments
Flat to impactful. A great range of good things in this one – simple changes with light that liven up a photo and selections with the object selection tool – which makes it so easy to use to make changes to individual areas of the photo.

Processing example
There is so much in this video from showing how easy Panoramas are in Lightroom, low light shooting without a tripod, to simple light and colour adjustments using basic masks to apply the changes to specific areas of the image.
Selections / Masking
making selections – here is a video on that very subject – it is one of the clearest videos I have seen on the subject – and later in the video (19 minutes) it starts to introduce the people masking – such a powerful tool now. Who said Lightroom is the poor relation to Photoshop !
