There are two competitions included in our Images of the Year: Projected Image of the Year and Print of the Year.
Here are the rules.
- These competitions are for images that have appeared, either printed or projected, in a monthly scored competition, awarded points, at some time in the same calendar year. That excludes the other Trophy competitions and includes the monthly competitons where points are awarded.
- Images that were originally entered in a print competition may be entered as a projected image and likewise, images originally entered in a projected image competition may be entered in the print competition.
- Entries may be colour or monochrome.
- Each member may enter a maximum of two images.
- Images entered in the Bernie Bloom Portrait Trophy or the Tony Meyer Landscape Trophy may not be entered in an Image of the Year competition.
- Individual images that have appeared as a component in a Frank Holding panel may be entered in an Image of the Year competition.
- The same image may not be entered in both the Print of the Year and Projected Image of the Year competitions in the same year.
- Any image that has previously been placed in any of our Trophy competitions may not be re-entered in any Trophy competition in subsequent years.
